These terms apply when you use gamorium.com and the features offered through it. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Imprint.
Gamorium classifies games with a self-defined four-axis framework (the "cheat-test": Execution, Reads, Variance, Optimization). The scores are an explicitly opinionated interpretation - an argument about what a game tests, based on how the majority plays it - not a measurement, not validated science, and not an objective statement of fact. It is a case to argue with, not a verdict to accept.
The scores, the per-axis reasoning and the blurbs on Gamorium are generated by a large language model (Anthropic's Claude) applying a framework we defined. Most catalogue entries are scored in bulk and are published without a human having read them first. The deep read, "Your fit" and "Picked for you" are likewise model-written, each time you press their button.
What is ours rather than the model's: the four-axis framework and its rules, the decision to publish, and any score we have corrected by hand. We hold editorial responsibility for everything on the site. That is also why the model is named rather than hidden - a model can be confidently wrong about a game it has never encountered, and you should be able to weigh the text knowing what wrote it.
Content is provided without warranty as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness, and is not purchasing, investment or other advice. Purchase decisions are your own. Game metadata (cover, genre, release year, ratings) is supplied by third parties (IGDB, Steam); we have no control over it and accept no liability for errors in that third-party data - subject to the Liability section below.
Gamorium is intended for adults aged 18 or older, including when submitting contributions. We do not knowingly offer the service to minors.
When you submit your own take, you warrant not to post unlawful or offensive content or personal data about other people. You retain any rights you have in your contribution and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store, reproduce, process and display it in aggregated or non-identifying form, to the extent necessary to operate, moderate and improve Gamorium.
We remove a contribution where it is unlawful, defamatory, or hateful; where it contains personal data about someone else; where it is spam, automated, or an abuse of the submission channel; or where it is otherwise plainly not a good-faith take on a game. Removal is a human decision, not an automated one. If you tell us which contribution was removed, we will tell you why. To report content on Gamorium that you believe is unlawful, email hello@gamorium.com with the page and what you believe is wrong with it; we will confirm we received it and tell you what we decided. None of this affects your mandatory statutory rights.
The following are not permitted:
The service is free with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, subject to any mandatory statutory rights, and AI features may temporarily fall back to the existing catalogue under load. Game titles, cover art and trademarks belong to their respective holders and are used for informational purposes only; Gamorium is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve/Steam, IGDB or any publisher.
Copyright or trademark concerns may be reported to hello@gamorium.com. Please include the affected URL and a brief explanation of the right you believe is infringed.
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only if we breach a cardinal obligation - a duty so central that meeting it is what makes proper performance possible at all, and on whose observance you may reasonably rely. Even then we owe only the damage that was foreseeable and typical for a contract of this kind. Beyond that, our liability for ordinary negligence is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
German law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country in which you have your habitual residence. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms is Aichach. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. Your mandatory statutory consumer rights - including your statutory place of jurisdiction - remain unaffected by these terms. The version published here, with its revision date, applies; we announce a material change on the site rather than changing it silently.
